The church organises many groups which meet regularly for fellowship, discussion and activities.  If you are interested in finding out more, the contact details are provided below.

Mary and Martha

A women’s group which meets every Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00. On the first meeting each month it takes the form of “Mothers’ Prayers” (see www.mothersprayers.org). Contact Elizabeth Baker (01223 244091).

Introductory groups

St Martin’s Well (“the place where people meet”)

A place where whole families can relax together, play games, do some craft and reflect on the spiritual side of life. We meet in the hall at St Martin’s from 4 – 6pm on the second Saturday of the month, share a free hot meal together and learn about the Christian faith. Further information from Matthew Gunton.

Senior Citizens group

Good Companions

A fortnightly club for seniors – activity, tea and cake. Alternate Thursdays 2:00 – 3:30 pm at St. Thomas’s. Contact Jenny Burch (01223 211993).

Groups for internationals

Vista

9.45 – 11.15 am on Fridays at St. Martin’s.
A group welcoming women from all cultures, customs and backgrounds who would like to meet others. Children are welcome; they stay with their parents and play with quiet toys.
£1 to cover the cost of refreshments.

International Bible Studies

CIMG1724Bible studies are run for internationals. Currently there is one meeting at St Martin’s on Thursday afternoons for visiting scholars from China. Others can be arranged (for individuals or groups).
